The Museum of the Loire

The Museum of the Loire offers a document offering help to the visit for the children, from age 7, accompanied by their families.
Children start to discover the collections dedicated to the Loire with the funny parrot Ver-Vert.
The appropriate booklet guides them throughout the course.
This circuit passes through four rooms of the museum where boatmen furniture, faience of Nevers, engravings, paintings, photographs, or nets, fishing gear and ship models are the subject of puzzles to solve, games of mistakes,pictures to complete and observation questions ...

The Farm of “Port Aubry”

Located near the Loire, this authentic farm hosts a large cattle of goats, but also cows, sheep, pigs, a draft horse, pigs, poultry ..

The Farm has a Store; there are many local specialties, especially cheeses, like goat cheese under the gi (controlled Original Appellation "Crottin de Chavignol", it is the only farm manufacturing the "Cosne" cheese.
Guided tours with tastings (priced) are organized for groups by appointment.

Milking goats takes place in the afternoon from 15h30pm to 18h00pm

The visits are free and individual
Group visits are by appointment and priced.

On site: play areas are equipped for children as well as picnic areas.

Cyclotrail of Sancerre

- A Tour to the original hills of Sancerre by Cyclotrail
Cosne / Loire - Departure station: Port Aubry (3 kms south of Cosne along the Loire, 200m from Port Aubry)

Monday from 12 am to 13h30pm and 17h15pm to 19h30pm.
Tuesday (12:00 to 1:30 p.m. only the main pool) and to 17h15pm 19h3pm.
Wednesday 14h30pm to 18h30pm.
Thursday (12h00pm 13h30pm only the main pool) and from 17:15 pm to 19:30 pm.
Friday from 17:15 p.m. to 20:15 p.m..
Saturday (10am to 12.30 pm large pool + half of the small pool ) from 14:30 to 18:30.
Sunday from 10:00 am to 12.30 pm.

Horseback riding

The “Agora du Cheval”
It is a Poney Club for the 4 to 12 years old with a riding school for 12 years to 77 years old!
The Agora has been existing for over 16 years and offers a recreational riding, and an improvement training, affiliated to the French Federation of Equestrian Sports; courses are taught by an instructor of graduated condition.
